Job Description
This role will be based in Dublin or London.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We\’re looking for an experienced and talented person to be a Staff Enterprise Engineer (AV Engineer / UC Engineer) responsible for the global footprint of collaboration services and spaces.
This position will require you to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across engineering teams, marketing, finance and additional internal customers to drive progress towards goals. The ideal candidate will have led experience-driven change that resulted in increased organizational productivity and performance.
As a Staff Collaboration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our collaboration infrastructure and spaces. You will play a key role in enabling seamless communication and collaboration across our teams, ensuring that our technology solutions are aligned with our business goals.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage collaboration platforms such as Collaboration Rooms, Microsoft Teams/Rooms, Zoom, and Google Workspace; plan and prioritize the service roadmap and enhancements.
- Driving the integration of collaboration platforms.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for collaboration tool usage.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of collaboration tools and infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide tier-3 support for collaboration platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their collaboration needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Facilitating technical discussion, decision making, and solution delivery involving technical decisions within the team, across the organization and across horizontal technical groups.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, managing vendors and stakeholders bridging the technical requirements with the delivery expectations.
- Stay current with emerging collaboration technologies and trends and assess their applicability to business goals.
- Automate workflows across all Collaboration platforms and beyond.
- Expertise with collaboration technologies across applications, infrastructure, devices and physical spaces.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in designing, architecting, managing and supporting collaboration platforms in a large-scale environment, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Workspace,
- 5+ years experience with network protocols, security principles, and IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic global environment.
- Strong project management and communication skills. Demonstrates effective communication skills and strong executive presentation skills.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., QSC, Extron, Crestron, Logi, Microsoft, Cisco, Google,) are preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Digital Signage, QSC AV processing, Dante, Voice and Telephony infra, Office 365 including Exchange, OneDrive and/or alternative web collaboration service.
