Job Title: Transport ManagerLocation: North YorkshireSalary: up to £50,000 per annum, Company Pension Scheme, 24 days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Phone & Laptop, Training Provided.Hours: Full-time, office-basedWe have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Transport Manager to join a market leading, globally recognised organisation that specialise in the heavy lifting and specialist transport industry.Based out of their head office, which is situation in Middlesborough, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance of the transportation of heavy cranes and associated equipment. As Transport Manager, you will hold full P&L responsibility for the transport division, alongside overseeing a small team.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of profit and loss within the transport department.Ensure strict compliance with O Licence regulations and transport legislation.Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance across transport operations.Lead and support a transport planner and a team of drivers.Oversee loading lists, delivery sequencing, and logistical planning for crane movements.Maintain strong communication with other depots to maximise efficiency and resource utilisation.Drive continuous improvement in operational performance while protecting the company’s global reputation.Requirements of the Role:Previous experience in a Transport Manager role.CPC qualification is essential.Proven experience in heavy crane transport and/or specialist heavy haulage preferred but not essential.Strong knowledge of compliance, O Licence, and transport legislation.Commercially focused with preferable experience of managing budgets and P&L.If you are someone that fits the above requirements and would like to find out more information about this opportunity please contact Ellie Vorsman at the Elite Consultancy Network on 0121 450 5000 ellie.vorsman@elitecn.co.uk
