Reporting to the Senior Manager of Training and Documentation, this role helps ensure learning materials are effective, accurate, and aligned with business needs. The analyst partners with subject matter experts and instructional designers to support content development, analyse training impact, and contribute to the continuous improvement of both training and documentation initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the training and documentation team to design, update, and maintain learning content, training guides, and process documentation.Analyse training needs and assist in developing learning solutions that align with organizational goals.Gather and interpret data on training effectiveness, learner performance, and knowledge retention.Support the development and implementation of instructional materials including eLearning modules, presentations, manuals, quick reference guides, and SOPs.Assist in maintaining the learning management system (LMS), including uploading content, managing enrolments, and tracking completion.Coordinate with SMEs to validate technical accuracy and relevance of content.Monitor training feedback and survey data to recommend improvements.Ensure documentation and learning content adheres to branding and accessibility standards.Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience in training development, instructional support, or documentation.Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.Familiarity with training authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence).Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.Preferred Skills - Experience with technical or operational documentation.Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).Exposure to project management tools or methodologies (e.g., Agile, Asana, Jira).Basic design or multimedia editing skills are a plus.Additional informationWhy Smiths?Be Part of Something Big: As we expand our footprint across APAC and MEA, you’ll play a key role in building the teams that will define our future.Growth Opportunities: At Smiths, we believe in your growth as much as our own.
