Support Analyst β Microlise TMS Up to Β£50,000 DOELocation β UK wide with remote workingThe Support Analyst will manage all aspects of solution deployment including design, configuration, testing, documentation, early life support and transition to BAU of all solutions under the governance of the Applications Team and to provide SME support for other IT departments as necessary.Responsibilities:Work with other members of the Applications Team to architect, design, build, and implement internal and customer solutions.Ensure that technical designs, internal documentation, processes and procedures are fully documented and maintained as requiredDevelopment of solutions that support the internal / customer requirementsDelivery of operational reporting within the application product suiteProvision of testing documentation and subsequent testing of modifications / solutionsSupport the configuration and testing activities to ensure that the delivered solution meets the scope as agreed.Provision of project support and post-live support to the business as agreed with on-site support provision if necessary.Ensure seamless transition to BAU adhering to agreed processes and standards.Identify change requests for technical development that will improve the service being offered to customers and third parties.Identify and manage any application issues and provide 2nd level support to production issues relating to those applications to ensure efficient resolution.To regularly communicate project progress to project manager and senior management.To manage incidents within control of the Applications Team and escalate issues outside control and authority.In conjunction with the IT Service Manager, provide regular updates to the business on progress of incidents within the control of the Applications Team.Provide assistance to other members of the IT departments and operational teams in the resolution of issues.Test and evaluate new technology, in line with business or customer requirementsEnsuring that any work is performed in accordance with any agreed schedule.You must have:Strong understanding of Logistics and Supply ChainExperience in BlueYonder Dispatcher WMS, Microlise/ESS TMSUnderstanding & experience of reporting tools such as iReports, SSRSExperience of testing tools such as Spira, HPQC, JiraAbility to learn other applications / tools to support business solutionsExperience of designing and building robust, secure software solutions.Experience in implementing integrated solutions in a logistics environment preferred.Strong understanding of application integration techniques.Solid understanding of SQLStrong customer skills, able to demonstrate ability to build strong customer relationships working closely with Customers technical teamsStrong communication skills, verbal and written, able to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences
