We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Network Test Analyst to support a high-impact programme. This is a unique opportunity to work within a secure, technically complex environment and contribute to the delivery of vital network services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test scripts from Test Plans and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Execute and support all test phases: Unit, System Integration, Functional, Non-Functional, Disaster Recovery, and Operational Acceptance.
- Manage test cases within HP ALM, linking them to appropriate requirements.
- Document test execution results and log/report defects using ALM.
Experience Required
- Strong experience in test case development and execution for network infrastructure.
- Proficiency with HP ALM for test management and defect tracking.
- Ability to interpret both High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation.
- Proficiency in Cisco switch/router console commands.
- Experience handling fibre optic cabling.
- Familiarity with data centre operations and procedures.
- Understanding of RFC 2544 network test procedures and lab setups.
- Exposure to network and service management tools.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be based in the UK and able to work on a hybrid basis in Berkshire.
- SC clearance eligibility is essential; current SC Clearance would be highly desirable.
