JOB – Technical Sales EngineerLOCATION – UckfieldTERM – PermanentSALARY – £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus bonus & benefits)My client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke mechanical equipment supplying into a range of industries. They are looking to take on a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Uckfield. This role will be a mix of new business development and account management.The Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:• Experience in a technical sales or account management role within an engineering or manufacturing environment• Understanding of mechanical systems or bespoke engineered products• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting existing customers• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with good organisational skills• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings would be beneficial• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as requiredThe Technical Sales Engineer role will involve:• Managing and developing existing customer accounts to increase sales and revenue• Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within key markets• Preparing and presenting technical solutions tailored to customer needs• Working closely with the design and engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met• Preparing quotations and supporting tender processes• Providing regular updates to management on sales activity and performance• Representing the company at trade shows and exhibitions when requiredIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
