TEXO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tar Operative to join our external established civil construction client based in Aberdeen.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in road surfacing or tarring is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Spill kit training.
- Manual handling training.
- UK Driving licence – HGV is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform civil engineering tasks like roadworks, drainage, slab/kerb laying, cable pulling, and concrete work.
- Transport and operate the tar box.
- Keep assigned vehicles, equipment, and machinery clean, maintained, and regularly checked.
- Operate machinery and equipment per standard procedures and only if certified.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Complete other tasks as requested by management.
