We're looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our Current Product Development (CPD) Team, playing a key role in delivering product improvements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.

You'll lead design engineering activities across current product change and improvement projects, working closely with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and validation teams to drive continuous improvement from concept through to production.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading design engineering activities to deliver projects on time and to plan
  • Driving product improvements using DFx, VAVE, and structured problem‐solving
  • Supporting design approval, compliance, and engineering sign‐off
  • Working closely with suppliers and production teams to ensure manufacturable solutions.
  • Defining and supporting testing and validation activities
  • Mentoring and coaching junior engineers

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years' experience in a design engineering role within manufacturing
  • Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Experience working to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong problem‐solving skills
