A hospital in Swindon is looking for an experienced Sonographer (Ultrasound) to join the imaging team on a long-term temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a confident clinician who can hit the ground running and support a busy service.

The role

You'll deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations and reports, working closely with radiologists, clinicians, and the wider imaging department. We're particularly interested in candidates with strong experience in MSK and/or Obstetrics ultrasound.

Requirements (essential)

  • HCPC registration (or equivalent eligibility where applicable)
  • Proven ultrasound scanning experience in a hospital/clinical setting
  • MSK and/or Obstetrics ultrasound experience
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload confidently

Desirable

  • Experience with general/abdominal ultrasound
  • Audit/quality improvement involvement
  • Familiarity with NHS workflows and reporting standards
