Locum Pharmacy Dispensers needed in Swaffham! We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Pharmacy Dispenser to support a busy GP Surgery. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider primary care team, assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of medication and providing support to patients and clinicians.

Location: Swaffham, PE37

Job Type: Locum / Temporary

System: EMIS

Pay Rate: £17 LTD via Umbrella Company

Shifts available:

  • 1st June 8am-5:30pm
  • 2nd June 9am-6pm
  • 3rd June 8am-5pm
  • 4th June 8am-6pm
  • 9th June 9am-6pm
  • 10th June 8am-5pm
  • 12th June 8am-6pm
  • 15th June 8am-6pm
  • 16th June 8am-6pm
  • 23rd June 8:30am-6pm
  • 26th June 8am-6pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing prescriptions accurately in line with practice procedures and legal requirements
  • Processing repeat prescriptions and medication requests
  • Managing prescription queries from patients and clinicians
  • Liaising with GPs, pharmacists, and wider clinical staff regarding medication issues
  • Maintaining accurate patient medication records using the clinical system
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and medication storage
  • Ensuring compliance with dispensing regulations, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures
  • Supporting with administrative duties within the dispensary team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Dispenser within a GP Surgery or community pharmacy
  • Knowledge of EMIS
