ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is a globally recognised engineering organisation operating at the forefront of advanced technology and manufacturing. Their teams deliver highly complex programmes across international supply chains, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality and performance at every stage. Due to continued programme demand, they are now looking for an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager to support supplier performance and delivery.
THE SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY MANAGER ROLE:
As a Supply Chain Quality Manager, you will act as the key interface between the business and suppliers, ensuring on-time, on-quality delivery across programmes. You will manage supplier performance, lead progress reviews, and drive corrective actions to improve delivery and quality outcomes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to coordinate deliveries, manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality standards. This role also involves supporting development phases, contributing to supplier capability assessments, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
SUPPLY CHAIN QUALITY MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, or Project/Programme Management
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing supplier performance and quality
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g. APQP, FMEA, SPC)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
