The role

You'll take full ownership of Quality across the business, acting as Responsible Person (RP) and Responsible Person for Import (RPi) - ensuring everything is compliant, audit-ready, and built to scale. This is a true leadership role. You won't just maintain standards - you'll shape the Quality strategy, influence decision-making and drive improvements across the wider business. You'll also play a key role in ensuring Quality is seen as a business enabler, working closely with cross functional teams to support growth in a compliant way.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and developing a high-performing QA team
  • Owning and evolving the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensuring full compliance with GDP, GMP and MHRA regulations
  • Acting as RP / RPi across multiple licences
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Leading MHRA inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
  • Partnering with commercial and operational teams to support business growth and decision-making

The successful candidate for the Head of Quality role will have the following background:

  • A proven track record of leading teams within pharmaceutical quality
  • Strong experience operating as an RP (and ideally RPi) - essential
  • Deep knowledge of GDP, GMP and MHRA requirements
  • Someone who communicates clearly and can collaborate and influence stakeholders across the business
  • A proactive, solutions-focused leader who can operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment
