WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures within Snowflake, including the development of Python-based procedures for advanced data transformation and automation.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and performance across environments. You will build and manage Power BI datasets, data models, and semantic layers to support enterprise business intelligence needs.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will also play a key role in monitoring and tuning Snowflake performance, implementing best practices in data modeling, schema design, and cloud data architecture. Experience with CI/CD processes and data deployment automation is essential. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for data processes, pipelines, models, and reporting assets is also a critical part of this position.
