We are supporting a leading contractor to support on a data centre in operation. You must be 66kV authorised and have GIS experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the 66kV Senior Authorised Person for HV operations on site
- Support switching operations, issuing permits, and control of access
- Provide rapid response support for any HV related issues
- Assist with commissioning activities and energisation of GIS substations
- Oversee safe systems of work and ensure full compliance with procedures
- Support wider project teams including fire systems, access control, and general site coordination
- Work across multiple data centre sites as part of a structured rotation
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Authorised Person at 66kV
- Strong experience with GIS
- Background within HV infrastructure, ideally within data centres or critical environments
- Experience with switching, permits, and commissioning support
- Ability to operate in low activity but high criticality environments
Contract Details:
- Day rate outside IR35
- 12 month rolling contract
- June start
- Rotational (yet to be decided)
