A growing SaaS vendor is looking for an experienced Product Manager to be responsible for the commercial, strategic and delivered outcomes of a product area (time keeping and recording, billing workflows, and payment management). This role operates as a standalone end-to-end Product Manager for a defined product area. You will own the product strategy and roadmap including discovery, analysis, release, and commercials. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a fast-growing product suite and ultimately have accountability for the product success.
Product Manager - Responsibilities- Product strategy & discovery - define and own product roadmap and vision.
- Carry out market analysis, customer research and user interviews to create user stories.
- Own and manage the product backlog - plan releases and delivery phases in collaboration with Development teams.
- Build and maintain business cases, ROI and KPIs/success metrics.
- Define pricing and packaging with commercial stakeholders.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience in a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or equivalent product-led role, with clear accountability for end-to-end product outcomes.
- Experience designing and developing products with integrated time-tracking, billing workflows, and/or end-to-end payment management capabilities (example industries include legal/case management, architecture, project management, accounting, or HR).
- Excellent understanding of UK Tax Legislation and accountancy compliance.
- Experience working in a commercial, regulated, and/or business-critical software environment.
- Hands-on experience working with cross-functional delivery teams (e.g. engineering, design, QA, delivery).
- Evidence of data-informed decision making, including defining success measures and using qualitative and quantitative insight to guide prioritisation.
- Beneficial - exposure to compliance-driven or regulatory change, working alongside specialist legal or compliance functions.
