Associate Rates: £50 – £60 per hour + Travel Allowance + Mileage
Overview:
Compass Associates are proud to be supporting an established independent case management provider as they look to appoint an experienced Associate Catastrophic Injury Case Manager to support the continued development of their Southwest presence. This organisation delivers high-quality, client-centred case management for individuals who have experienced life-changing injuries including traumatic and acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex polytrauma and other severe orthopaedic or neurological injuries. They pride themselves on maintaining a supportive, collaborative culture, where associates are treated as integral members of the team while still benefiting from the flexibility of self-employment.
You will manage a caseload of adults and/or children with complex rehabilitation needs, completing detailed assessments, developing bespoke rehabilitation programmes, coordinating MDT input and supporting families, legal teams and care providers. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, whilst still providing access to peer supervision, professional networking opportunities and strong clinical leadership support.
Location:
This is a home-based role with travel to clients, MDT professionals and solicitors within your region. The organisation is specifically looking to strengthen its presence across the Southwest, particularly around Bournemouth, Southampton and the general Hampshire / Dorset area. Caseloads are typically managed within a two-hour radius of the successful candidate's home location.
Contract Available:
Associate (Self-Employed) Contract. The organisation is flexible around working arrangements, with 2–3 days per week typically expected, although this can increase depending on caseload and the associate's existing commitments. Associates are also able to work with other case management providers, offering additional flexibility and portfolio working.
Salary / Hourly Rates:
Associate Case Manager: £50 – £60 per hour (dependent on experience)
Travel Time: £36 per hour
Mileage: 55p per mile
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified OT, Physiotherapist, Speech & Language Therapist, Nurse or Social Worker
- Current registration with HCPC, NMC or SWE
- Previous case management experience within the medico-legal sector
- Experience supporting individuals with complex or catastrophic injuries
- Strong professional networks with solicitors or referrers is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
