Location: UK Wide (ideally based in the Midlands or South)

Hours: 40 Hours - Monday to Friday

We're looking for an LV / HV Technician (Authorised Person) to carry out the safe operation, maintenance and control of electrical systems across our sites, ensuring compliance with legislation, safety rules and operational procedures.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain and isolate LV and HV electrical systems in line with Authorised Person responsibilities
  • Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely, following permits to work, switching procedures and risk assessments
  • Carry out inspections, fault finding and maintenance to ensure continuity of supply
  • Maintain accurate records, logs and compliance documentation
  • Act as a technical point of contact, supporting colleagues and contractors on site

Required Qualifications

  • Authorised Person (AP) status for LV and/or HV systems
  • Relevant electrical qualification (e.g. 18th Edition, HNC)
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong understanding of electrical safety rules, legislation and safe systems of work
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in safety‐critical situations

  • A proactive, professional approach with strong attention to detail
