Freja is looking for an in-house Social Media Video Editor!
Location: Remote-first (Ideal candidate can come 1-2 days per month to Stroud, Gloucestershire for team workshops)
We’re looking for a sharp, creative video editor to help us bring Freja to life across social. You’ll work closely with our founder, Head of Content and brand team to translate our warm, functional, no-fluff brand into compelling short-form video content for both organic and paid channels.
What you’ll be doing:- Editing short-form video content (mainly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts)
- Working on both new content ideas and iterations for both organic social and performance-driven social ads
- Working from a mix of supplied assets, creator content and raw footage
- Translating founder and product-led messaging into engaging edits with clarity and personality
- Adding subtle graphics, subtitles, and light animation where needed
- Helping us evolve a distinctive visual style that feels aligned to the Freja brand
- You’re a skilled editor who can work quickly and cleanly in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut or similar
- You instinctively understand TikTok and Instagram as platforms (especially how to use pacing, hooks, captions, etc.)
- You have a good eye for brand identity, pace, and narrative, even when working with lo-fi footage
- You are excited about testing new concepts and iterating on best performers
- You are driven to experiment and explore what content works best and how to optimise edits for views, engagement, click-through or other key metrics
- You have a high standard of delivery, but understand when to balance speed and experimentation over perfectionism
- You are comfortable working to specific requirements and a deadline, while also being excited by open briefs
- You’re not trying to be the star, you’re great at amplifying someone else’s voice and style
