Denholm are delighted to be working with a leading premium consumer-goods brand based in Edinburgh. We are seeking a skilled and strategic Global Social Media Coordinator to lead content development and engagement across our client’s Instagram and TikTok platforms for an initial 6-month contract. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends and a proven ability to turn followers into loyal brand advocates. This is a key role within a small, collaborative team—balancing content creation with data-driven decision-making to drive growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Calendar Management
- Develop and maintain a dynamic, forward-looking content calendar for Instagram and TikTok.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality posting aligned with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Content Development & Community Engagement
- Create engaging, educational, and entertaining employee-generated content (EGC).
- Curate and incorporate user-generated content (UGC) to enhance community connection.
- Monitor platform conversations and engage with the audience in a timely, thoughtful manner.
- Collaborate with influencers and manage content campaigns from concept to completion.
- Stay informed on platform trends, tools, and features—proposing innovative ways to connect with our audience.
- Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track, analyse, and report on content performance across key metrics (engagement, reach, virality).
- Use insights to iterate and improve content strategy and execution.
Experience
- 3–5+ years in social media management, with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Demonstrated success managing influencer relationships and campaign execution.
Skills
- Strong understanding of short-form video content and platform-specific best practices.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with a creative and audience-first mindset.
- Excellent project management abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient with content management systems (Sprout, Notion experience is a plus).
