About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their Civils team on essential water infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in delivering safe, clean drinking water from project inception through to completion. Working within a supportive team, you'll have the opportunity to shape your own technical deliverables and make a tangible impact on communities in the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and check project scopes to ensure outcomes are achieved
  • Provide technical solutions and support on capital projects, producing design drawings, CDM documents, and job specification packs
  • Check colleagues' work for technical quality
  • Mentor Graduate Civil Engineers and apprentices, supporting their development
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to secure project approvals
  • Visit sites to carry out audits and provide guidance to contractors

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • HNC, HND, or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in a Civil Engineer role with ability to manage your own deliverables
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications
  • Knowledge and practical application of CDM 2015
  • Experience in design, construction, or maintenance of infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions
