We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional service across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Small Works Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for small-scale fire sprinkler installation, repair, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects. You will analyse customer specifications, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget. Strong communication and attention to detail are key, as you will be a vital link between departments and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Review project specifications, drawings, and scope documents for small works projects.Perform take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for fire sprinkler systems.Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes.Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field staff to ensure scope alignment and cost accuracy.Prepare and submit bid proposals within required deadlines.Attend site visits or pre-bid meetings as needed.Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.Maintain and update estimating tools, templates, and pricing databases.Assist with project hand-off to operations and ensure a smooth transition.Requirements:Experience in fire sprinkler estimating, preferably in small works or tenant improvement projects.Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and relevant standards (e.g. BS EN 12845, NFPA, LPC Rules).Strong IT skills and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.A team player with a flexible and collaborative approach.
