Are you a civil engineer who enjoys leading design, not just producing it? We're looking for a Civil Design Technical Lead to take ownership of civil and structural design across water and wastewater treatment projects — guiding solutions from early concept through to delivery and commissioning.

This is a hands‐on technical leadership role where you'll review designs, manage external consultants, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable and buildable infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading civil & structural design on complex projects
  • Managing and reviewing consultant design packages
  • Collaborating with mechanical, electrical & process teams
  • Ensuring compliance, buildability and value for money
  • Supporting projects from feasibility through to commissioning

What we're looking for:

  • Civil engineering degree
  • Strong water / wastewater design experience
  • Confident reviewing consultant work and leading design decisions
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit & BIM environments
  • Chartered (or working towards) is a plus
