Are you a civil engineer who enjoys leading design, not just producing it? We're looking for a Civil Design Technical Lead to take ownership of civil and structural design across water and wastewater treatment projects — guiding solutions from early concept through to delivery and commissioning.
This is a hands‐on technical leadership role where you'll review designs, manage external consultants, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable and buildable infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading civil & structural design on complex projects
- Managing and reviewing consultant design packages
- Collaborating with mechanical, electrical & process teams
- Ensuring compliance, buildability and value for money
- Supporting projects from feasibility through to commissioning
What we're looking for:
- Civil engineering degree
- Strong water / wastewater design experience
- Confident reviewing consultant work and leading design decisions
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit & BIM environments
- Chartered (or working towards) is a plus
