Our client, a leading organisation within the oil & gas sector is seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to lead safety, environmental and regulatory performance across the UK & Ireland.
Operating across a network of high-hazard terminal sites, this role offers the opportunity to influence safety strategy within a complex, safety-critical environment. This is a remote-based leadership position (team of 7) with UK-wide travel to operational sites as required.
You will:
- Lead HSSE strategy across multiple COMAH-regulated sites
- Act as the primary interface with regulators and Competent Authority
- Oversee COMAH compliance, safety reports and regulatory interactions
- Drive process safety, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide expert HSSE support to operational teams
- Lead audits, investigations and performance improvement programmes
What We're Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma (essential)
- CMIOSH (or equivalent experience)
- Strong COMAH regulatory-facing experience, ideally across multiple sites
- Sector experience in high-hazard industries
- Strong understanding of process safety and regulatory compliance
