About the RoleThis position sits within KPMG’s Risk Operations function, part of Central Services, which supports the firm across critical activities like HR, Finance, Legal, and Risk. The role focuses on regulatory compliance through the Sentinel application, a global tool used to manage legal and regulatory independence requirements and identify conflicts of interest.Key ResponsibilitiesConflict Management: Ensure engagements do not create unmanageable conflicts of interest; propose mitigation strategies.Sentinel Helpline: Respond to queries via phone and email regarding the Sentinel system and engagement requests.Cross-border Coordination: Liaise with global conflict resolvers and UK teams to manage international engagement conflicts.Compliance Processes: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the Sentinel system.Required Skills & ExperienceExperience in Regulatory Compliance or similar analytical roles.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Ability to interpret complex information and escalate issues appropriately.Preferred SkillsExperience in a regulated sector or professional services.Understanding of conflict of interest principles.Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.Locations & FlexibilityCore hubs: Birmingham and Watford, with flexibility for remote work, part-time hours, and other arrangements across 20 UK sites.
