Overview
Support the Head of Safeguarding in delivering the safeguarding strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and a child-first approach. Provide expert advice on complex safeguarding issues and manage significant incidents across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Head of Safeguarding and support strategic objectives.
- Lead on complex safeguarding cases, liaising with regulators, local authorities, and police.
- Oversee investigations, assess risk, and recommend safeguarding improvements.
- Attend external safeguarding meetings and ensure follow-up actions.
- Build strong partnerships with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Identify trends and drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices.
- Support safer recruitment and staff guidance on safeguarding matters.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Background as a LADO or Social Worker with senior safeguarding experience.
