Senior Relationship Manager- Structured Property Finance

This is an opportunity to join the structured property finance team of a well-established UK bank.They provide structured bridge and terms loans (£5m – £30m+) to UK commercial and residential developers and investors.They need to hire a senior relationship manager to close deals and manage some of their key client relationships. You won\’t need to source new to bank business but will have the ability to win new business from your existing client base.Why this might appeal to you:The structured finance team has a mandate to double the size of it\’s loan book so you will close a lot of dealsYou will manage some of the banks high value customersYou will be part of a talented and experienced team with a collegiate working cultureWhat they need:8+ years of UK property lending experience with a track record of closing loansStrong client relationship management experienceThe ability to write compelling credit papers and present to committeeA more detailed job spec:Responsibility for on-going relationship and risk management within the portfolio, including management of any extensions/renewals/restructuresLiaison with Executive Directors, Chief Credit Officer, Head of Operations & Servicing and/or Credit Committee, as appropriateIdentification of risk situations and control of overdue loans ensuring portfolio is adequately monitored • Monitoring of CRRs / LTV’s/ Loan Conditions and report to the Operations Manager who will present/discuss to credit in the monthly book reviewSite visits and client meetings as requiredAssist with the management of the recovery of any impaired assets • Evaluate Asset Manager / QS reports and provide recommendations to Credit and the Operations Manager to authorise/approve stage drawdowns if applicableEnsuring the timely reporting of elevated risk situations and conduct of loan reviewsNegotiate and communicate with valuers, Solicitors and other professional advisers, from obtaining fee quotes for initial enquires until repayment of facilitiesMonitoring adherence to loan offer termsEnsuring that security valuations and reports on title comply with the bank’s procedures and following up promptly any matters which do not meet the required standardsGeneral liaison with customers to resolve any issues outstanding and requiring attentionEnsure Portfolio Management adheres to the Bank’s Internal Processes and External Regulatory Framework Salary is up to £120k + bonus.
