With over 1 billion video views per month, 100 million social followers globally, and a reach of 800 million across web, social, and video platforms, Footballco is the world’s largest football media company and one of the largest digital media companies in sport globally.About The RoleFootballco is seeking a Senior Programmatic Manager to lead SSP partnerships and oversee the technical integrations that drive incremental revenue across our web and app inventory.This includes both our owned & operated properties such as GOAL, Kooora, Voetbalzone, Calciomercato, and Spox, as well as a growing premium network of third-party publisher partners.You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Ad Ops, and Yield, playing a key role in shaping our programmatic monetisation strategy and execution.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in programmatic advertising, particularly with Google Ad Manager, Prebid, and Amazon TAM, and ideally has experience working in a publisher, SSP or ad tech environment.This role is based in our London office and operates on a hybrid working model (3 days per week in-office).What you\’ll be doing: Own and lead the technical implementation of programmatic and ad tech integrations across Footballco’s portfolio.Manage and grow strategic relationships with SSPs and key monetisation partners.Identify and deliver revenue growth opportunities through new partnerships, minimum guarantees, or integration strategies.Optimise yield by implementing and testing improvements to existing setupsAct as a bridge between commercial goals and technical execution, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.Help drive internal programmatic education and upskilling, ensuring commercial and operational teams understand best practices.Represent Footballco in industry discussions, events, and partnerships to elevate our visibility and thought leadership in the programmatic space.Provide regular feedback and insight to product teams to inform the development of monetisation tools and features.What you have:5+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic advertising, ideally within a publisher or ad tech environment.Deep understanding of the programmatic landscape, with strong experience working directly with SSPs, GAM, Prebid, and Amazon TAM.Proven track record in managing and optimising programmatic yield across multiple platforms and formats.Solid grasp of implementation methods across tag-based, header bidding, and server-side integrations.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Line management experience is a plus, but not essential.Footballco is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
