We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong technical expertise and project leadership skills to join our team. The successful candidate will support process engineering activities across all phases of design, from concept to commissioning, ensuring optimal safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards as well as participating in operation of our units.Supported by an experienced team delivering a technology that achieves world\'s lowest-ever rate of electricity consumption for desalination and water re-use, the Senior Process Engineer takes on an important role to ensure development of exciting industry-first projects in various locations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Perform process simulations using tools such as DWSIMConduct mass and energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and line sizingPrepare and review process datasheets for equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, and vesselsProvide input on equipment selection, plant layout, and process optimisationParticipate in HAZOP, and risk assessmentsSupport FEED, basic, and detailed engineering phases of projectsSupport commissioning, start-up, and operations troubleshooting activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.)Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with process requirementsEnsure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with client\'s requirements Assist as required in the preparation of operating and maintenance manualsMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidanceQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering5+ years of experience in process engineering or process design (EPC, operating company, or design consultancy)Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g. HYSYS, Aspen Plus, PRO/II,DWSIM)Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g. API, ASME, ISO)Experience in HAZOP, SIL, or other safety reviewsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team
