Senior Policy Associate – Corporate Governance & Stewardship Location: Birmingham (2 days per week onsite/ Monday +1 other) Salary: £65,145 (non-negotiable) Contract: Permanent, Full-time Are you an experienced governance or stewardship professional looking to make a real impact in UK corporate practice? We\’re seeking a Senior Policy Associate to join a dynamic team shaping the future of corporate governance and stewardship in the UK.With the updated UK Corporate Governance Code (2024) and UK Stewardship Code (2026) taking centre stage, you\’ll play a leading role in assessing how listed companies, asset managers, and others are reporting against these frameworks.This is a highly analytical and policy-focused role where you will:Lead and contribute to the annual reviews of corporate governance and stewardship reportingAnalyse reporting by listed companies and Stewardship Code signatoriesSupport policy development and promotion of governance principles for large private companiesEngage with senior stakeholders and external organisationsDraft high-quality content and briefings for internal and public audiences Who we\’re looking for: You\’ll have in-depth knowledge of the UK\’s governance and stewardship frameworks, strong analytical and drafting skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings with clarity and influence. Experience in regulatory, policy, or professional services environments will be highly valued. Possible experience/ background might include Asset Management, Investment, Investor, Company Secretary. This role will look at all aspects of corporate governance including Risk, Diversity, Leadership, Investment.
