Our London based Financial Services Client is looking to recruit an experienced (5 years plus) Oracle Developer in developing data warehouses, BI development (OAS BI), ETL development, and data integration. ODI ETL is essential for this role along with the Oracle analytics exposure, and ideally you will have some financial services background, preferably Banking.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data Warehouse Management: Design, implement and manage data warehouse schemas and data marts to store and organize volumes of data. Implement data models and schemas to support efficient data retrieval and analysis. Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the data warehouse, marts and services operate smoothly.
- Data Management: Manage and optimize data to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Write complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyse data.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency. Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and implement integration solutions.
- ETL Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the ETL pipeline. Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
- Business Intelligence Development: Develop and maintain BI solutions using Oracle Analytics Server. Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making. Perform data analysis to derive actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders.
- Retail Banking & Accounting Knowledge: Apply domain knowledge of retail banking and accounting to understand data requirements and provide relevant insights. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
