Our client, a reputable, multinational consumer goods company, are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Senior Data Protection Lawyer to advise on privacy and data protection law and implementation, across their UK and EMEA businesses. The main purpose of the role will be to support the various businesses to implement their data protection initiatives, and to provide timely, accurate, quality legal advice on all aspects of data protection. The role holder will also work with the wider commercial legal team, to maximise commercial opportunities and minimise risk.
Experience/Qualifications required:
- LLB or BA Law Qualified – Excellent legal training
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister – 7+ years PQE
- Good experience of data protection (in house or in private practice), preferably a large complex multinational business or high-quality legal practice.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills; proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively to non-legal audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with shifting priorities.
This is a really varied role and a fantastic opportunity to join a collegiate team, with strong prospects for development and growth. Salary £120,000++3 days per week in the London office.
