Senior Event Manager

This is a key role overseeing end-to-end delivery of these major events – with full accountability across planning, operations, budget control, and team coordination within the catering operation.What You’ll Be Doing:Lead the complete event lifecycle of three high-profile sporting event, setting and driving the strategic direction of each event, ensuring all milestones, KPIs, and timelines are met.Provide leadership and clarity across all event functions – from early planning to live delivery, line managing a core team and coordinating a wider operational function across catering, logistics, hospitality, commercial, and people operations.Maintain alignment and momentum through structured meetings, updates, and cross-department collaboration.Develop and execute innovative food and beverage strategies, leveraging internal resources and supply chains.Oversee the full creative direction of the events – including culinary offerings, visual presentation, and equipment.Support all event operations: public catering, hospitality, and workforce management, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.Own the full event budget – including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation, ensuring all financial processes are followed, from PO management to supplier payments.Lead long-term event planning to ensure continuous improvement and future readiness.Align all delivery with broader organisational goals and values.Promote a strong team culture with a focus on well-being, collaboration, and professional development.What We’re Looking For:As an ideal candidate you will have a proven track record in end-to-end project management for large-scale events, bringing expertise that spans event operations, catering delivery and a passion for the latest F&B trends, all backed by confident budget management and sharp financial oversight!This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering some of the most recognised sporting events in the UK.
