Develop fundamental M&A / investment banking style analysis and valuation work around equity capital markets and fundamental transformational M&A situations.

Develop and maintain advanced valuation models (M&A, IPO, LBO, comps).

Start as a sector generalist, develop sector focus as the investment team grows. Global with focus on Europe and North America. London based.

Ideal candidate characteristics:

  • 5+ years of M&A experience and 2+ years of equity long/short or fundamental equity event driven (not merger arb) experience at a hedge fund.
  • Experience originating and executing exit alternative processes for Private Equity owned portfolio companies.
  • Outstanding valuation skills: M&A modelling, LBO modelling, IPO modelling.
  • Strong M&A deal due diligence experience; experience building operating models that feed M&A models.
  • Advanced Bloomberg skills.
  • Ability to work fast under high pressure in a team.
