Hawksworth are now looking for a Security Data Loss Prevention Manager for a global Law firm. The role is permanent, remote (in the UK only) with travel infrequently to Belfast or London for meetups and face-to-face meetings. Salary to be discussed with the candidate based on experience.

The Security Data Loss Prevention Manager will oversee and manage the organization's data loss prevention strategies and technologies. The role involves executive reporting, building out reports, gathering statistics, future budgeting, leadership, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Good vendor management experience is essential, including making calls, holding vendors accountable, and managing roadmaps to avoid being vendor reactive.

Required skills & experience:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in DLP and Cloud Solutions
  • 3-5 years in Management or Team leadership role
  • 3-5 years’ experience of people and vendor management
Technical Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of DLP technologies, including Microsoft Purview and Proofpoint
  • Ability to oversee the implementation and management of these technologies
Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and managing DLP policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Demonstratable experience in enterprise vendor management and executive-level reporting
  • Able to operate a DLP program at a large enterprise scale for a global organization
