Offshore WTG SCADA Commissioning Engineer - Major Offshore Wind Project - Offshore, England, United Kingdom (sailing out of North East ports) - £Excellent Daily Rate + Expenses - 12 Month Contract + Extensions (3 year total duration) - ASAP Start Date (can wait for notice period if required) - 2 & 2 Rotation (12 hour days) - Inside IR35We’re working with a leading offshore wind developer who are looking for an experienced SCADA Commissioning Engineer to join their offshore WTG commissioning team. This is a long-term, high-value contract on a flagship offshore wind project, working directly with the client on SCADA commissioning and integration activities across offshore wind turbines.The RoleAs a SCADA Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be based offshore on a rotational basis, overseeing and assuring contractor delivery of SCADA systems. You’ll witness testing, resolve issues, and ensure integration meets the developer’s requirements before handover to operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee commissioning and integration of WTG SCADA systems offshore.Witness and verify testing of networks, fibre, and communication systems.Act as the client’s offshore interface with OEMs and contractors.Provide technical support in resolving offshore commissioning challenges.Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with client processes.Ensure compliance with developer safety rules and offshore HSE practices.Contract DetailsDuration: 3 years total (12-month initial contract).Location: Offshore (SOV-based) – mobilisation from North East ports.Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour days.Start Date: ASAP (can wait for notice period if required).IR35: Inside (umbrella engagement).RequirementsStrong background in SCADA commissioning (offshore wind preferred).Experience with fibre networks and comms systems.Valid offshore certification (GWO, HUET, FOET, Medical) – preferred, but mobilisation support can be arranged.Strong communication and client-facing skills.Comfortable working offshore on a long-term rotational basis.Interested?
