We’re working with a fast-growing SaaS company that’s seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to join their Business Systems function. This is a key strategic hire with end-to-end responsibility for Salesforce deployment and release processes — and Gearset expertise is essential.
As their trusted recruitment partner, we're helping them find someone who can bring structure, scalability, and confidence to their release lifecycle. You'll be the go-to expert for ensuring that deployments are accurate, efficient, and well-governed across all environments.
Role Responsibilities:- Own and manage all Salesforce deployment activities, using Gearset to compare environments, manage versioning, and roll out changes reliably.
- Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines, reducing manual intervention and improving release consistency.
- Work closely with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to coordinate safe and timely deployments.
- Define release governance standards, including environment strategy, rollback processes, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Document tooling usage and technical processes to support scale and knowledge sharing.
- Identify and address risks early, acting as a release SME and point of escalation.
- Strong hands-on experience using Gearset for Salesforce deployments.
- Confident working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD frameworks.
- Previous experience managing releases in a Salesforce SaaS or enterprise environment.
- A clear, structured communicator with a proactive, detail-driven approach.
- Bonus: Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite and a background in business systems or DevOps.
- Salary up to £75,000
