The Role:
As a Sales Development Manager, your primary mission will be to deliver outstanding sales results and value-added concepts to a pre-determined regional account customer base (30 - 40 accounts) covering the midlands and North with a focus on winning new customers. Utilising your deep understanding of the tyre industry and market dynamics, you will position brands as leaders within your customer segment.
You will be doing this:
- Achieve volume and profit targets through pre-defined agreements with regional customers.
- Maintain detailed customer profiles to facilitate strategic planning and assess business potential.
- Develop and deliver value-added initiatives tailored to customer requirements.
- Manage monthly and quarterly sales objectives, negotiating changes to sustain growth and profitability.
- Use market knowledge to appraise and negotiate increased business shares by brand and product category.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to customers and colleagues.
And you’ll need this:
- Comfortable being Field-based, covering the Midlands/North area of the UK with some overnight stays.
- Proven track record in sales with strong negotiation skills.
