We're working exclusively on a project for a UK-based aviation startup with strong seed funding. We're looking to hire 2 Rust Engineers as a matter of urgency (you would be team member number 7/8), with likely plans for another set of hires at the end of the year.
You can work remotely anywhere in the UK (founders are based in London, no plans for an office ever) - you must already be based in the UK, the team cannot sponsor.
If you're interested in getting behind the hood of how things work in aircraft/airline flight management and want to make a genuine impact in bringing the aviation industry out of the 70's, this could be a really interesting challenge for you.
We're looking for Rust engineers hungry for a challenge and who enjoy responsibility over their work. The project will have you working on entirely greenfield Rust challenges, sometimes gathering requirements directly from customers. You'll work closely with the CTO to help design and develop very complex, safety-critical systems.
Stack: Rust, Postgres, Docker, gRPC (a tiny bit of React on the frontend).
Interview process: Video call with CEO, CTO Technical discussion, Follow-up technical interview with the CTO, Offer call.
This kind of project doesn't pop up often - so apply now for a chat!
