Swisslog enables skilled and experienced Military Engineers, with current or recent practical hands-on experience within a maintenance or repair environment, to transfer these valuable skills to the Automation Industry. Working Monday to Friday rotating 8-hour shifts, mornings and afternoons, NO nights. The Engineers do 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday a month and take a day off in the week to compensate. Company benefits include private health care and a company contributory pension scheme.
The Role – Resident Site Engineer – Maintenance Engineer
- Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, including tornado cranes, spiral conveyors, carton labellers, carton erectors, sortation machines, and high-speed conveyors.
- Undertake repairs in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
- Ensure quality of output and adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
- Work at heights.
- Work within a team of Engineers, representing the company in a professional manner and striving for excellence and best practice in all tasks undertaken.
