We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a leading commercial Refrigeration business covering Birmingham and surrounding regions. This field-based role is vital in supporting the Project Engineers and Project Managers by ensuring customer equipment is commissioned to high standards, in line with manufacturers' guidelines and client specifications.

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will deliver hands-on commissioning services and provide expert advice and guidance to the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project handover and commissioning activities
  • Ensure compliance with all company and client standards
  • Stay up to date with current and emerging client equipment
  • Offer remote and on-site technical support to the engineering team
  • Manage on-site activities efficiently and professionally
  • Champion health and safety best practices at all times
Desirable Experience:
  • Strong experience in refrigeration, particularly COâ‚‚ and supermarket systems
  • F-Gas qualified
  • Experience in handling hydrocarbons
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Health and safety focused, with a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends when required
