Location: Portsmouth – hybrid (generous relocation available)

Salary: £50k - £73k DOE & overtime / 10-15% bonus

This technical role focuses on the RF aspects of hardware design, developing solutions for new products and integrating technologies into legacy systems.

What you’ll be doing - RF Engineer

  • Detailed RF circuit design including component selection, evaluation, simulation, schematic capture, and preparing guidance for PCB design teams
  • Electromagnetic simulation and analysis
  • Specification of bespoke procured hardware
  • Design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test
  • Generate design documentation and technical reports
  • Adherence to Engineering Lifecycle and contributing to progress, peer, and design reviews

Your skills and experiences - RF Engineer

  • Circuit and RF Design Expertise
  • Proficiency with RF Test Equipment: Skilled in using advanced RF testing tools such as vector network analysers, spectrum analysers, waveform generators, and phase noise analysers
  • Design Proving and Compliance
