Quality Inspector (Electrical)£38.50p/h (outside IR35) + site-based + average 48hr working week + good overtime rates (night/weekend work) + travel time paid up to 5hrs @£38.50p/h per week + nightly allowance towards accommodation + long-term contract work (min 12months & rolling)Quality Inspector (Electrical) responsibilities include:Carry out 2nd party Electrical Safety checks & inspections to required standards.Deliver detailed inspection reports.Risk assessment of fixed electrical installations.Drawings, tracing, labelling and schedules of electrical installations.Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard.Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing.Lightning protection systems inspection and testing.Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery.Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary. Quality Inspector (Electrical) profile; C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC.SC clearance eligible (must be a UK Citizen who has live and worked in the UK for the last 5years) C&G 2391/2392 Inspection and Testing certificate.17th/18th Edition regs required. COMPEX certs 01-04 desirable.Minimum 10yrs relevant Electrical engineering experience, ideally 5 of which have involved 2nd or 3rd party testing and inspecting of electrical installations.ATEX inspections experience beneficial.Experience working in Nuclear, Waste-Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Aviation, heavy industry etcCurrent UK driving license.If the above contract as an Quality Inspector looks of interest and you have the qualifications and experience required, then please get in touch and one of our consultants will contact you
