The Training, Learning & Development (L&D) Programme Lead is responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of all training activities related to the global transformation programme, covering both Operations and Non-Operations functions. This role works closely with the Global Programme Manager, Migration Leads, and Hub-based Training Leads to ensure training is well-planned, effectively delivered, and aligned to programme timelines and business objectives. This role is essential to ensuring teams across all impacted areas are fully prepared and capable of operating effectively post-migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Strategy & Planning
- Lead the end-to-end coordination of the training and learning workstream across all functional areas, both Ops and Non-Ops.
- Collaborate with the Global Programme Manager, Migration Leads, and Training Leads to define training needs and map out delivery approaches for each workstream.
- Design training plans and schedules aligned with programme phases and migration waves.
- Determine appropriate training formats (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning, self-paced), delivery resources, and ownership by stakeholder group.
- Programme Execution & Coordination
- Manage the overall training programme rollout across countries and functions, ensuring alignment with transition and onboarding timelines.
- Coordinate the preparation, collation, and standardisation of training materials in collaboration with SMEs and content owners.
- Drive consistency in training delivery standards, leveraging best practices and tools to ensure high engagement and knowledge retention.
- Ensure effective handover of training content and responsibilities to local and Hub-based Training Leads for delivery.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop mechanisms to track and report training delivery, learner progress, completion rates, and readiness metrics.
- Facilitate feedback collection and post-training evaluations to assess effectiveness and refine future sessions.
- Flag training-related risks and dependencies, proposing mitigation actions to ensure programme continuity and success.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Serve as the central point of contact for all training-related coordination across the global programme.
- Liaise with functional leaders, L&D, HR, and transformation teams to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Provide clear updates and reports to programme leadership and senior stakeholders on training status, milestones, and key outcomes.
- Support the change management team in embedding learning as part of the overall adoption strategy.
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in leading training or L&D workstreams in large-scale transformation or migration programmes.
- Strong programme management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training tracks across regions and stakeholder groups.
- Experience designing and coordinating training for both operations and corporate/non-operations audiences.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Familiarity with training delivery tools and platforms (LMS, virtual classrooms, e-learning development).
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global stakeholders.
