The OpportunityBlack Label Creations is a new, disruptive, and innovative private label supplier of finished nutritional supplements.We provide expert services in premium and bespoke product creation from concept to launch, selling finished units of a huge variety of nutrition products, as well as providing branding & product design services to our customers.The RoleBlack Label Creations are looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, methodical and creative nutritional food scientist for a 3 month fixed term contract.The candidate will collaborate closely with the Product Development team on a wide range of new product initiatives. This role offers a fast-paced learning environment, providing valuable insight into the supplement industry and hands-on experience in the recipe kitchen, where the candidate will help develop a diverse array of nutritional supplements.Key responsibilities:To assist the Product Development team on all new and existing product development projects.To assist in sample creation, maintaining accurate recipe sheets and logging all required information.To send finished samples out to customers in a timely manner and keep an accurate sample log on all samples sent.To keep ingredient stock sheets up to date.To assist with the creation of product specification sheets for customers.To create pre-production samples for organoleptic properties confirmation.About you:• Based close to our office address GU16 7AZ and able to commute 5 days a week• Remarkably high attention to detail regarding numbers & data• Creative as well as logical• Extremely organized• Highly self-motivated individual• Must work well in small teams• Highly personable and humble (key for our strong service to our customers)• Naturally clean and tidy (key for working in the development kitchen)• Passion for supplements, fitness and nutritionSkills Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in a food science or food technology related discipline• Highly knowledgeable in nutrition and dietetics• Good understanding of nutritional supplements• Well versed with Microsoft ExcelWe’re looking for someone vibrant, ambitious and excited to work within nutrition industry.Sound like you?
