Product Specialist/ Co-ordinator – Wakefield – Medical Device About the Company: We are looking for an individual with excellent communication, numerical and organisation skills from the medical device, cosmetics or FMCG industry to join an established, thriving medical device company.Responsibilities:Maintain and update packaging specifications and submissions, ensuring timely preparation and accuracy.Monitor and ensure compliance with packaging regulations (e.g., Packaging & Packaging Waste, EPR, RAM, and upcoming legislation).Respond to internal and external packaging-related queries.Prepare internal product specifications and assist with customer portal updates to ensure timely product launches.Manage the seal sample approval process, including documentation, stakeholder communication, seal room oversight, and customer liaison for sample delivery and approvals.Support the Product Manager with technical approval of gold seal samples.Provide technical information to internal teams and external stakeholders.Support the Product Manager and Technical Director with ad hoc projects and duties.Lead sustainability initiatives, coordinating activities, responding to customer queries, and maintaining sustainability portal information.Requirements:Experience working in a sampling/dispatch role within medical device, FMCG or cosmetics production industry.Excellent communication, numerical and organisation skills.Experience in quality or reviewing against requirements.Experience with customer liaison.The ability to pick up new systems quickly and with ease.Comfort managing multiple different priorities and responsibilities.The willingness to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities.A technical background would be desirable.
