International Bank based in London, are looking to recruit a Private Banking Assistant. To be considered for this position, ideal candidates MUST speak Arabic.Main responsibilities will include;Provide general assistance to Head of Private Banking and Relationship Managers on all aspects of account management. This will include meeting and assisting clients on the bank premises.Attend to client’s phone calls, email or letter request and to ensure that they are answered and dealt with promptlySupport Head of Private Banking and Relationship Managers by responding to queries from AML/Compliance DepartmentReview customer files periodically to ensure account due diligence is complete and up to dateAssist with account opening, including preparing new account opening packsLiaise with Head Office to obtain KYC/Due diligence and; obtain/chase bank referencesUndertake payment validation process (checking signature, balances, and completing call back to client)Co-ordinate with Customer Services, Head Office, Private Banking teams and clients concerning credit cards settlementAssist clients where required with any credit/debit card enquiries or requestsTo be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience and skills;At least 2 years Banking experienceSpeak fluent ArabicProficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPointDemonstration of accuracy, organisation and attention to detailBe able to work well within a dynamic fast paced teamAbility to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise workMust be task orientated and able to meet targets and deadlineExceptional time management skills with the ability to thrive whilst working under pressureMust have good attention to detail as accuracy is essential
