We are seeking a highly experienced ADMS S6 Specialist to join our client's team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in GE PowerOn Fusion (PoF) and/or PowerOn Advantage (PoA), coupled with strong knowledge of utility grid applications and a proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and support ADMS products including PoF, PoA, DMS Applications, OMS, DER, Storm Assist, etc.
- Work with SCADA, User Interface, and Modeling tools.
- Utilize Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Volt-VAR Control (IVVC/VVC), and FLISR/FDIR systems.
- Ensure smooth integration and operation across transmission and distribution grids.
- Perform issue isolation and resolution involving TCP/IP, IP addressing, DNS, routing, firewalls, Active Directory, and network switches.
- Develop and utilize Jasper Reports, and work with Oracle, SQL, and Cassandra databases.
- Comply with NERC CIP standards and ensure secure and compliant systems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interface with customers.
- Support remote monitoring and diagnostic operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in ADMS, particularly with PowerOn Fusion (PoF) or PowerOn Advantage (PoA)
- Proficiency in: DMS, OMS, DERMS
- Linux & Windows environments
- Oracle, SQL, Cassandra, Jasper Reports
- TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Active Directory, Routing/DNS
- Familiarity with Transmission & Distribution electrical networks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of remote diagnostics concepts and utility industry standards
