We are supporting a well-established Building Services Consultancy in the recruitment of an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Chichester. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 2–5 years' experience in UK mechanical building services design looking to further develop their career within a collaborative consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
  • Production of calculations, technical specifications and drawings
  • Use of AutoCAD and Revit within an MEP environment
  • Supporting projects from concept through to completion
  • Attending site visits, surveys and client meetings
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary design teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience within a UK Building Services Consultancy
  • Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical building services design
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Working towards Chartership with CIBSE would be advantageous.
