Planning Specialist - Adaptive OR Pigment

Job Description:Salary Range: £65,000 – £85,000 LocationUK home worker based, with travel expected on an ad-hoc basis in line with client requirements.Job OverviewAs a Planning Specialist, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic Business serving an array of clients. You will be working with two market leading Planning platforms to provide high quality solutions to our clients. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead your own projects and to support on business development activities. Responsibilities and Duties:● Provide expertise on the platforms for Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, robust, value-driven solutions for our clients, with the support of your Team. This will range from the definition of Business Requirements, to system implementation, documentation and to ongoing support.● Support business development activities. You will be responsible for assisting with configuration of proof of concept builds and requirement scoping. This is expected to be a minority proportion of your overall time.● Help with the facilitation of operational growth. Contribute to the growth of the Business in the form of methodology, process design, development of intellectual property and training/supporting newer members of the Delivery Team as they join.● Working as a Team. You will have a high degree of autonomy and ownership you’re your assigned projects. You will be expected to collaborate and share your learnings and problems solved with your colleagues. Minimum (Essential) Requirements:● Either “Workday Adaptive Planning Platform Certified” OR “Pigment PRO Certified”● You will be expected to maintain proficiency in both Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning, complying with relevant update certifications where applicable and feasible.● Completed at least 3 implementations of Adaptive Planning or Pigment Planning end-to-end in a hands-on capacity.● Ability to build an integrated three-way model of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.● Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences. ● Ability to conceptualise a client’s business model and translate it into a working model in the software.● Demonstrable ability to be self-driven, motivated and pro-active.● Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends within Financials and Enterprise Resource Planning.● Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and project commercials.● Able, if required, to travel to customer sites within the region of UK & Europe. (Out of region travel may also be required). Desirable:● Certified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Part Qualified Accountant with strong industry experience● Experience in using an EPM tool from an end-user perspective.● Experience in implementing EPM solutions for both Financial Planning and Workforce Planning.About Us: Plan Assist is a rapidly growing technology consulting practice, specializing in, and partnering with: Workday Adaptive Planning and Pigment Planning.
