We are currently recruiting for an experienced NVQ2 Qualified Dispenser to support a busy GP surgery on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and organised dispenser with previous primary care experience and knowledge of SystemOne.
The Role
- You will support the practice dispensary team with the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring excellent patient service within a fast-paced GP surgery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately
- Managing repeat prescription requests
- Supporting stock control and ordering of medicines
- Handling patient queries professionally and efficiently
- Working closely with GPs, pharmacists, and practice staff
- Maintaining accurate patient medication records using SystemOne
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing is Essential
- Previous GP surgery or primary care dispensing experience essential
- Experience using SystemOne software essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
